² “^(A)The kingdom of heaven ^[a]may be compared to ^[b]a king who ^[c]gave a ^(B)wedding feast for his son.

¹⁰ And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ^(A)ready went in with him to ^(B)the wedding feast; and ^(C)the door was shut.

³⁶ Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks.

²⁹ He who has the bride is ^(A)the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this ^(B)joy of mine has been made full.

²³ For ^(A)the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the ^(B)head of the church, He Himself ^(C)being the Savior of the body.

³² This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.

⁹ Then ^(A)he *said to me, “^(B)Write, ‘^(C)Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he *said to me, “^(D)These are true words of God.”
