¹⁵ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel around on sea and land to make one ^[a](A)proselyte; and when he becomes one, you ^[b]make him twice as much a son of ^[c](B)hell as yourselves.

¹⁶ “Woe to you, ^(C)blind guides, who say, ‘^(D)Whoever swears by the ^[d]temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the ^[e]temple is obligated.’ ¹⁷ You fools and blind men! ^(E)Which is ^[f]more important, the gold or the ^[g]temple that sanctified the gold?
