⁴⁹ and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards;

⁴⁵ But if that slave says in his heart, ‘My master ^[a]will be a long time in coming,’ and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk;

¹⁵ For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, ^(A)for it is only the ^[a]third hour of the day;

²¹ for in your eating each one takes his own supper first; and one is hungry and ^(A)another is drunk.

¹⁸ And ^(A)do not get drunk with wine, ^[a]for that is ^(B)dissipation, but be ^(C)filled with the Spirit,

⁷ For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get ^(A)drunk at night.

² with whom ^(A)the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and ^(B)those who dwell on the earth were ^(C)made drunk with the wine of her immorality.”

⁶ And I saw the woman drunk with ^(A)the blood of the ^[a]saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered ^[b]greatly.
