⁵ For ^(A)many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the ^[a]Christ,’ and will deceive many.

⁶ Many will come in My name, saying, ‘^(A)I am He!’ and will mislead many.

⁸ And He said, “See to it that you are not deceived; for many will come in My name, saying, ‘^(A)I am He,’ and, ‘The time is at hand.’ ^(B)Do not go after them.

²⁶ Jesus *said to her, “^(A)I who speak to you am He.”

²⁸ So Jesus said, “When you ^(A)lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that ^[a](B)I am He, and ^(C)I do nothing from Myself, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.

⁵⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, ^(A)I am.”

¹⁹ From now on ^(A)I am telling you before it occurs, so that when it does occur, you may believe that ^(B)I am He.
