Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus(A)
14 Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot(B)—went to the chief priests 15 and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.(C) 16 From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

3 Then(A) Satan entered Judas,(B) called Iscariot,(C) who was numbered among the Twelve. 4 He went away and discussed with the chief priests and temple police(D) how he could hand Him over(E) to them. 5 They were glad and agreed to give him silver.[a] 6 So he accepted the offer and started looking for a good opportunity to betray Him to them when the crowd was not present.
