2 “(A)You know that after two days (B)the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be (C)handed over for crucifixion.”
3 (D)At that time the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together in (E)the courtyard of the high priest named (F)Caiaphas; 4 and they (G)plotted together to arrest Jesus covertly and kill Him. 5 But they were saying, “Not during the festival, (H)otherwise a riot might occur among the people.”

2 “As you know, the Passover(A) is two days away—and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”
3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled(B) in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas,(C) 4 and they schemed to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him.(D) 5 “But not during the festival,” they said, “or there may be a riot(E) among the people.”
