38 “My soul is overwhelmed with grief,” he said, “even to death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
39 Then, going a little further on, he fell on his face and prayed.
“My father,” he said, “if it’s possible—please, please let this cup go away from me! But . . . not what I want, but what you want.”
40 He came back to the disciples and found them asleep.
“So,” he said to Peter, “couldn’t you keep watch with me for a single hour?

38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow(A) to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”(B)
39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup(C) be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”(D)
40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me(E) for one hour?” he asked Peter.
