53 [a]Either thinkest thou, that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he will give me more than twelve legions of Angels?

54 [b]How then should the (A)Scriptures be fulfilled, which say, that it must be so?

55 The same hour said Jesus to the multitude, Ye be come out as it were against a thief, with swords and staves to take me: I sat daily teaching in the Temple among you, and ye took me not.
