^6 (A)Now when Jesus was in ^(B)Bethany, at the home of Simon the leper,

The Triumphal Entry

11 ^(A)As they *approached Jerusalem, at Bethphage and ^(B)Bethany, near ^(C)the Mount of Olives, He *sent two of His disciples,

^11 (A)Jesus entered Jerusalem and came into the temple; and after looking around at everything, ^(B)He left for Bethany with the twelve, since it was already late.

^12 (C)On the next day, when they had left Bethany, He became hungry.

^3 (A)While He was in ^(B)Bethany at the home of Simon the leper, and reclining at the table, there came a woman with an alabaster vial of very ^(C)costly perfume of pure ^[a]nard; and she broke the vial and poured it over His head.

The Ascension

⁵⁰ And He led them out as far as ^(A)Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.
