Jesus Celebrates Passover with His Disciples^(A)

^17 (B)Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”

¹⁹ So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.

^20 (A)When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve.

^30 (A)And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

⁵⁶ But all this was done that the ^(A)Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.”

Then ^(B)all the disciples forsook Him and fled.

Jesus Handed Over to Pontius Pilate^(A)

27 When morning came, ^(B)all the chief priests and elders of the people plotted against Jesus to put Him to death.

³¹ And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, ^(A)and led Him away to be crucified.

^35 (A)Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, ^[a]that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet:

^2 (A)“This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. ³ Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the ^(B)tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.
