44 with the same also the robbers, who were crucified with him, were reproaching him.
45 And from the sixth hour darkness came over all the land unto the ninth hour,
46 and about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a great voice, saying, `Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?' that is, `My God, my God, why didst Thou forsake me?'

44 In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness(B) came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[a] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[b](C)
