But the angel told the women, “Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified.(A) He is not here! For He has been resurrected, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.(B) Then go quickly and tell His disciples,(C) ‘He has been raised from the dead. In fact, He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there.’ Listen, I have told you.”(D)

So, departing quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to tell His disciples the news.

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

When(A) they entered the tomb,(B) they saw a young man[a](C) dressed(D) in a long white(E) robe sitting on the right side; they were amazed and alarmed.

“Don’t be alarmed,” he told them. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene,(F) who was crucified. He has been resurrected!(G) He is not here! See the place where they put Him. But go, tell His disciples and Peter,(H) ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee;(I) you will see Him there just as He told you.’”

So they went out and started running from the tomb,(J) because trembling and astonishment overwhelmed them. And they said nothing to anyone,(K) since they were afraid.
