“(B)The voice of one [b]crying in the wilderness,
‘(C)Make ready the way of the [c]Lord,
Make His paths straight!’”
4 Now John himself had [d](D)a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was (E)locusts and wild honey. 5 Then Jerusalem (F)was going out to him, and all Judea, and all (G)the district around the Jordan;

New International Version
3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”[a](A)
4 John’s(B) clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist.(C) His food was locusts(D) and wild honey. 5 People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan.
