3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:
(A)“The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
(B)‘Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make His paths straight.’ ”
4 Now (C)John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was (D)locusts and (E)wild honey. 5 (F)Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him

New International Version
3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”[a](A)
4 John’s(B) clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist.(C) His food was locusts(D) and wild honey. 5 People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan.
