¹⁰“Away with you, Satan!” Yeshua told him, “For the Tanakh says,

‘Worship Adonai your God, and serve only him.’” ^[a]

¹¹Then the Adversary let him alone, and angels came and took care of him.

¹²When Yeshua heard that Yochanan had been put in prison, he returned to the Galil;

¹¹Then the devil left him,^(C) and angels came and attended him.^(D)

¹²When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison,^(E) he withdrew to Galilee.^(F)

¹⁰Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

¹¹Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

¹²Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
