²⁴ The news about Him spread ^(A)throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, ^(B)demoniacs, ^[a](C)epileptics, ^(D)paralytics; and He healed them.

14 ^(A)At that ^[a]time ^(B)Herod the tetrarch heard the news about Jesus,

²⁸ Immediately the news about Him spread everywhere into all the surrounding district of Galilee.

⁴⁵ But he went out and began to ^(A)proclaim it freely and to ^(B)spread the news around, to such an extent that ^[a]Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but ^[b]stayed out in unpopulated areas; and ^(C)they were coming to Him from everywhere.

Jesus’ Public Ministry

¹⁴ And ^(A)Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and ^(B)news about Him spread through all the surrounding district.

³⁷ And ^(A)the report about Him was spreading into every locality in the surrounding district.

¹⁵ But ^(A)the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.
