Then came to him the tempter, and said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

But he answering, said, It is written, (A)Man shall not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him on a [a]pinnacle of the Temple.
