3 Then came to him the tempter, and said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answering, said, It is written, (A)Man shall not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him on a [a]pinnacle of the Temple.

Matthew 4:3-5
New International Version
3 The tempter(A) came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God,(B) tell these stones to become bread.”
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[a]”(C)
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city(D) and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.
