¹¹ “You are blessed when they insult and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of Me. ¹² Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven. For that is how they persecuted^(A) the prophets who were before you.^(B)

³ And not only that,^(A) but we also rejoice in our afflictions,^(B) because we know that affliction produces endurance,^(C)

⁴ In fact, He was crucified^(A) in weakness, but He lives^(B) by God’s power. For we also are weak in Him,^(C) yet toward you we will live^(D) with Him by God’s power.
