¹⁵No one lights a lamp^(A) and puts it under a basket,^[a] but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.^(B)

¹⁵Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.^(A)

²¹He^(A) also said to them, “Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket or under a bed?^(B) Isn’t it to be put on a lampstand?^(C)

²¹He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand?^(A)
