^29 (A)If your right eye makes you ^[a]stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you ^[b]to lose one of the parts of your body, ^[c]than for your whole body to be thrown into ^[d](B)hell. ^30 (C)If your right hand makes you ^[e]stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you ^[f]to lose one of the parts of your body, ^[g]than for your whole body to go into ^[h](D)hell.

⁶ but ^(A)whoever ^(B)causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it ^[a]would be better for him to have a ^[b]heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.

⁸ “^(A)If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame, than ^[a]to have two hands or two feet and be cast into the eternal fire. ^9 (B)If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it from you. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than ^[b]to have two eyes and be cast into the ^[c](C)fiery hell.

⁴² “^(A)Whoever causes one of these ^[a]little ones who believe to stumble, it ^[b]would be better for him if, with a heavy millstone hung around his neck, he ^[c]had been cast into the sea. ^43 (B)If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life crippled, than, having your two hands, to go into ^[d](C)hell, into the ^(D)unquenchable fire,

⁴⁵ If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame, than, having your two feet, to be cast into ^[a](A)hell,

^47 (A)If your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be cast into ^[a](B)hell,

^2 (A)It ^[a]would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble.

⁶¹ But Jesus, ^(A)conscious that His disciples grumbled at this, said to them, “Does this ^(B)cause you to stumble?

¹³ Therefore, ^(A)if food causes my brother to stumble, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause my brother to stumble.
