Jesus Forbids Oaths

³³ “Again you have heard that ^(B)it was said to those of ^[b]old, ^(C)‘You shall not swear falsely, but ^(D)shall perform your oaths to the Lord.’ ³⁴ But I say to you, ^(E)do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is ^(F)God’s throne;
