⁴²Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.^(A)

⁴²Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

¹⁰They desired only that we should remember the poor, ^(A)the very thing which I also was eager to do.
