⁷“And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as ^(A)the Gentiles do, for ^(B)they think that they will be heard ^(C)for their many words.

⁷And when you pray, do not keep on babbling^(A) like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.^(B)

³²For ^(A)the Gentiles seek after all these things, and ^(B)your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
