³⁴^(A)But the Pharisees said, “It is the chief of the demons who gives Jesus the power to drive out demons.”

Matthew 9:34

New International Version

³⁴But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”^(A)

²⁵^(A)A teacher of the Law came up and tried to trap Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to receive eternal life?”

²⁵On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”^(B)
