⁴Knowing their thoughts,^(A) Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?

⁴And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

²⁴But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people.

²⁴But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

²⁵He did not need any testimony about mankind,^(A) for he knew what was in each person.^(B)

²⁵And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
