^19 (A)But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For ^(B)it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; ^20 (C)for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

^21 (D)“Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. ²² And ^(E)you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. ^(F)But he who endures to the end will be saved.

^11 (A)“Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say.

^12 (A)But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and ^(B)prisons. ^(C)You will be brought before kings and rulers ^(D)for My name’s sake. ¹³ But ^(E)it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. ^14 (F)Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will ^[a]answer; ¹⁵ for I will give you a mouth and wisdom ^(G)which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or ^[b]resist. ^16 (H)You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put ^(I)some of you to death. ¹⁷ And ^(J)you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.
