^25 [a](A)At that time Jesus said, “I praise You, ^(B)Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that ^(C)You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to infants.

^20 (A)Where is the wise person? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of ^(B)this age? Has God not ^(C)made foolish the wisdom of ^(D)the world?

⁸ the wisdom ^(A)which none of the rulers of ^(B)this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified ^(C)the Lord of glory;
