¹⁹ And ordering the crowds to ^[a]sit down on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looked up toward heaven. He ^(A)blessed the food and breaking the loaves, He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

²⁷ And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you;

^17 (A)And when He had taken a cup and ^(B)given thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves;

¹⁹ And when He had taken some bread and ^(A)given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

¹¹ Jesus then took the loaves, and ^(A)after giving thanks He distributed them to those who were reclining; likewise also of the ^(B)fish, as much as they wanted.

²³ Other small boats came from ^(A)Tiberias near to the place where they ate the bread after the ^(B)Lord ^(C)had given thanks.

³⁵ Having said this, he took bread and ^(A)gave thanks to God in the presence of them all, and he broke it and began to eat.

⁶ The one who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and the one who eats, ^[a]does so with regard to the Lord, for he ^(A)gives thanks to God; and the one who does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat, and he gives thanks to God.
