²⁷ For the ^(A)Son of Man ^(B)is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and ^(C)will then repay every person according to his ^[a]deeds.

²⁸ “Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the ^(D)Son of Man ^(E)coming in His kingdom.”

⁵ Therefore ^(A)do not go on ^[a]passing judgment before ^[b]the time, but wait ^(B)until the Lord comes, who will both ^(C)bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of human hearts; and then ^(D)praise will come to each person from God.

²⁶ For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death ^(A)until He comes.

Exhortation

⁷ Therefore be patient, ^(A)brothers and sisters, ^(B)until the coming of the Lord. ^(C)The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until ^[a]it gets ^(D)the early and late rains.

²⁵ Nevertheless ^(A)what you have, hold firmly ^(B)until I come.
