²⁹ And everyone who has left houses, brothers or sisters, father or mother,^[a] children, or fields because of My name will receive 100 times more and will inherit eternal life.^(A)

³² Don’t be afraid,^(A) little flock,^(B) because your Father delights^(C) to give you the kingdom.^(D)

Victorious Resurrection

⁵⁰ Brothers, I tell you this: Flesh^(A) and blood^(B) cannot inherit the kingdom of God, and corruption cannot inherit incorruption.

²¹ envy,^[a](A) drunkenness, carousing,^(B) and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance—as I told you before—that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.^(C)

⁵ Listen, my dear brothers: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world^(A) to be rich in faith^(B) and heirs^(C) of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?

⁹ not paying back evil for evil^(A) or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing,^(B) since you were called for this, so that you can inherit a blessing.

⁷ The victor^(A) will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.^(B)
