² “^(A)The kingdom of heaven ^[a]is like ^[b]a king who ^[c]held a ^(B)wedding feast for his son.

¹⁰ But while they were ^[a]on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were ^(A)ready went in with him to ^(B)the wedding feast; and ^(C)the door was shut.

³⁶ You are also to be like people who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door for him when he comes and knocks.

²⁹ He who has the bride is ^(A)the groom; but the friend of the groom, who stands and listens to him, rejoices greatly because of the groom’s voice. So this ^(B)joy of mine has been made full.

²³ For ^(A)the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the ^(B)head of the church, He Himself ^(C)being the Savior of the body.

³² This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.

⁹ Then ^(A)he *said to me, “^(B)Write: ‘^(C)Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.’” And he *said to me, “^(D)These are the true words of God.”
