14 Then(A) one of the Twelve—the man called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests(B) 15 and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” So they weighed out 30 pieces of silver for him.(C) 16 And from that time he started looking for a good opportunity to betray Him.

Then(A) Satan entered Judas,(B) called Iscariot,(C) who was numbered among the Twelve. He went away and discussed with the chief priests and temple police(D) how he could hand Him over(E) to them. They were glad and agreed to give him silver.[a] So he accepted the offer and started looking for a good opportunity to betray Him to them when the crowd was not present.
