Micah 1:6-8
Christian Standard Bible
6 Therefore, I will make Samaria
a heap of ruins(A) in the countryside,
a planting area(B) for a vineyard.
I will roll her stones(C) into the valley
and expose her foundations.(D)
7 All her carved images will be smashed(E) to pieces;
all her wages(F) will be burned in the fire,
and I will destroy all her idols.
Since she collected the wages of a prostitute,(G)
they will be used again for a prostitute.
Micah’s Lament
8 Because of this I will lament and wail;
I will walk barefoot and naked.(H)
I will howl like the jackals(I)
and mourn like ostriches.[a]

as the wages of prostitutes they will again be used.”
