Micah 6:4-6
Christian Standard Bible
4 Indeed, I brought you up(A) from the land of Egypt
and redeemed you(B) from that place of slavery.(C)
I sent Moses,(D) Aaron, and Miriam(E) ahead of you.
5 My people,
remember what King Balak of Moab(F) proposed,
what Balaam son of Beor answered him,(G)
and what happened from the Acacia Grove[a](H) to Gilgal(I)
so that you may acknowledge
the Lord’s righteous acts.(J)
6 What should I bring before the Lord(K)
when I come to bow before God on high?
Should I come before him with burnt offerings,(L)
with year-old calves?

5 O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the Lord.
6 Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
