³⁰A lev marpeh (sound mind) is life to the basar, but kinah (envy) is the rottenness of the atzmot (bones).

³¹He that oppresseth the dal (poor) showeth contempt for his Oseh (Maker), but he that honoreth Him is kind to the evyon (needy).

³²The reshah is banished in his ra’ah, but the tzaddik hath refuge in his mot (death).

Proverbs 14:30-32

New International Version

³⁰A heart at peace gives life to the body,
but envy rots the bones.^(A)

³¹Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker,^(B)
but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.^(C)

³²When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down,^(D)
but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.^(E)
