Nahum 1:7-9
World English Bible

7 Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him. 8 But with an overflowing flood, he will make a full end of her place, and will pursue his enemies into darkness. 9 What do you plot against Yahweh? He will make a full end. Affliction won’t rise up the second time.

New International Version

7 The Lord is good,(A)
    a refuge in times of trouble.(B)
He cares for(C) those who trust in him,(D)
8     but with an overwhelming flood(E)
he will make an end of Nineveh;
    he will pursue his foes into the realm of darkness.

9 Whatever they plot(F) against the Lord
    he will bring[a] to an end;
    trouble will not come a second time.
