²⁰ After him Baruch son of Zabbai repaired another section from the Angle to the door of the house of the high priest Eliashib.^(A)

Intrigues of Enemies Foiled

6 Now when it was reported to Sanballat and Tobiah and to Geshem the Arab and to the rest of our enemies that I had built the wall and that there was no gap left in it (though up to that time I had not set up the doors in the gates),^(A)

7 Now when the wall had been built and I had set up the doors and the gatekeepers, the singers, and the Levites had been appointed,^(A)

³⁹ and above the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Old Gate, and by the Fish Gate and the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of the Hundred, to the Sheep Gate, and they came to a halt at the Gate of the Guard.^(A)

Jerusalem to Be Enlarged

³⁸ The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when the city shall be rebuilt for the Lord from the tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate.^(A)
