²⁰ After him Baruch the son of Zabbai repaired another section from the buttress to the door of the house of ^(A)Eliashib the high priest. ²¹ After him ^(B)Meremoth the son of Uriah, son of Hakkoz repaired another section from the door of the house of Eliashib to the end of the house of Eliashib.

⁴ Now before this, ^(A)Eliashib the priest, who ^(B)was appointed over the chambers of the house of our God, and who was related to ^(C)Tobiah,

⁷ and came to Jerusalem, and I then discovered the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah, ^(A)preparing for him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.

²⁸ And one of the sons of ^(A)Jehoiada, the son of ^(B)Eliashib the high priest, was the son-in-law of ^(C)Sanballat the Horonite. Therefore I chased him from me.
