Nehemiah 4:5

⁵Do not cover their guilt or let their sin be erased from Your sight, because they have provoked^[a] the builders.^(A)

Nehemiah 4:5

New International Version

⁵Do not cover up their guilt^(A) or blot out their sins from your sight,^(B) for they have thrown insults in the face of^[a] the builders.

¹⁴Let his ancestors’ guilt
be remembered before the Lord,^(A)
and do not let his mother’s sin be blotted out.^(B)

¹⁴May the iniquity of his fathers^(A) be remembered before the Lord;
may the sin of his mother never be blotted out.
