20 “(A)You gave Your good Spirit to instruct them,
Your manna You did not withhold from their mouth,
And You gave them water for their thirst.
21 “Indeed, (B)forty years You provided for them in the wilderness and they were not in want;
Their clothes did not wear out, nor did their feet swell.
22 “You also gave them kingdoms and peoples,
And allotted them to them as a [a]boundary.
(C)They took possession of the land of Sihon [b]the king of Heshbon
And the land of Og the king of Bashan.

New International Version
20 You gave your good Spirit(A) to instruct(B) them. You did not withhold your manna(C) from their mouths, and you gave them water(D) for their thirst. 21 For forty years(E) you sustained them in the wilderness; they lacked nothing,(F) their clothes did not wear out nor did their feet become swollen.(G)
22 “You gave them kingdoms and nations, allotting to them even the remotest frontiers. They took over the country of Sihon[a](H) king of Heshbon and the country of Og king of Bashan.(I)
