^50 (A)But appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They are to carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings, and they shall take care of it ^(B)and shall camp round the tabernacle.

⁵³ But the Levites shall camp round the tabernacle of the testimony, so that there may be no ^(A)wrath on the congregation of the people of Israel. ^(B)And the Levites shall keep guard over the tabernacle of the testimony.”

The Cloud Covering the Tabernacle

^15 (A)On the day that the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony. And ^(B)at evening it was over the tabernacle like the appearance of fire until morning.

Israel Leaves Sinai

¹¹ In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, ^(A)the cloud lifted from over the tabernacle of the testimony,

⁷ And Moses deposited the staffs before the Lord in ^(A)the tent of the testimony.

⁸ On the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony, and behold, the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.
