    the citizens of Arnon’s heights.^(D)

¹¹ Lord, your hand is lifted high,^(A)
    but they do not see^(B) it.
Let them see your zeal^(C) for your people and be put to shame;^(D)
    let the fire^(E) reserved for your enemies consume them.

⁴⁵ “In the shadow of Heshbon
    the fugitives stand helpless,
for a fire has gone out from Heshbon,
    a blaze from the midst of Sihon;^(A)
it burns the foreheads of Moab,
    the skulls^(B) of the noisy boasters.
