28 So Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, one of his choice men, answered and said, “Moses my lord, (A)forbid them!”
29 Then Moses said to him, “Are you [a]zealous for my sake? (B)Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!” 30 And Moses returned to the camp, he and the elders of Israel.

28 Joshua son of Nun,(A) who had been Moses’ aide(B) since youth, spoke up and said, “Moses, my lord, stop them!”(C)
29 But Moses replied, “Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all the Lord’s people were prophets(D) and that the Lord would put his Spirit(E) on them!”(F) 30 Then Moses and the elders of Israel returned to the camp.
