²⁷ When He rained ^[a]meat upon them like the dust,
Even ^(A)winged fowl like the sand of the seas,
²⁸ Then He let them fall in the midst of ^[b]their camp,
Round about their dwellings.
²⁹ So they ^(B)ate and were well filled,
And their desire He gave to them.

^40 [a]They ^(A)asked, and He brought ^(B)quail,
And satisfied them with the ^[b](C)bread of heaven.
