¹⁴ Then they shall say to the inhabitants of the land, (for they have heard, that thou Lord, art among this people, and that thou, Lord, art seen ^[a]face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou ^(A)goest before them, by daytime in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.)

^33 (A)Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, that ye might see what way to go, and in a cloud by day.
