28 So tell them, ‘As surely as I live,(A) declares the Lord, I will do to you(B) the very thing I heard you say: 29 In this wilderness your bodies will fall(C)—every one of you twenty years old or more(D) who was counted in the census(E) and who has grumbled against me. 30 Not one of you will enter the land(F) I swore with uplifted hand(G) to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh(H) and Joshua son of Nun.(I)

29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.
30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
