Numbers 14:8-10

8 If the Lord love us, he will bring us into this land, and give it us, which is a land that floweth with milk and honey.
9 But rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land: for they are but [a]bread for us: their shield is departed from them, and the Lord is with us, fear them not.
10 And all the multitude said, [b]Stone them with stones: but the glory of the Lord appeared in the Tabernacle of the Congregation before all the children of Israel.

New International Version
8 If the Lord is pleased with us,(A) he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey,(B) and will give it to us.(C) 9 Only do not rebel(D) against the Lord. And do not be afraid(E) of the people of the land,(F) because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with(G) us.(H) Do not be afraid of them.”(I)
10 But the whole assembly talked about stoning(J) them. Then the glory of the Lord(K) appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites.
