GOD’S WORD Translation
8 If the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us. This is a land flowing with milk and honey! 9 Don’t rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. We will devour them like bread. They have no protection, and the Lord is with us. So don’t be afraid of them.”
10 But when the whole community of Israel talked about stoning Moses and Aaron to death, they all saw the glory of the Lord ⌞shining⌟ at the tent of meeting.

8 If the Lord is pleased with us,(A) he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey,(B) and will give it to us.(C) 9 Only do not rebel(D) against the Lord. And do not be afraid(E) of the people of the land,(F) because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with(G) us.(H) Do not be afraid of them.”(I)
10 But the whole assembly talked about stoning(J) them. Then the glory of the Lord(K) appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites.
