2 And they rose up [a]against Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty captains of the assembly, (A)famous in the Congregation, and men of renown,
3 Who gathered themselves together against Moses, and against Aaron, and said unto them, [b]Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the Congregation is holy, [c]every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye yourselves above the Congregation of the Lord?
4 But when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face,

Numbers 16:2-4
New International Version
2 and rose up against Moses.(A) With them were 250 Israelite men, well-known community leaders who had been appointed members of the council.(B) 3 They came as a group to oppose Moses and Aaron(C) and said to them, “You have gone too far! The whole community is holy,(D) every one of them, and the Lord is with them.(E) Why then do you set yourselves above the Lord’s assembly?”(F)
4 When Moses heard this, he fell facedown.(G)
