³⁰ But ^(A)if the Lord ^[a]brings about an entirely new thing and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them with everything that is theirs, and they ^(B)descend alive into ^[b]Sheol, then you will know that these men have been disrespectful to the Lord.”

³³ So they and all that belonged to them went down alive to ^[a]Sheol; and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.

²⁰ then I will bring you down with those who ^(A)go down to the pit, to the people of old, and I will make you remain in the ^(B)lower parts of the earth, like the ancient ruins, with those who go down to the pit, so that you will not ^[a]be inhabited; but I will put ^(C)glory in the land of the living.
